Around 7 years back at the age of 21 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called anylosing spondylitis- it’s a chronic inflammatory condition – (a type of an arthritis.) I used to wake up with excruciating pain in my lower back and I just couldn’t get myself out of bed.
I had not put on weight as such but I constantly felt bloated and even the people who I met told me that I looked unwell and weak overall.
That’s when I happened to get in touch with Neha. I casually just mentioned it to her and she told me she could help me. She explained to me how an anti inflammatory diet would help my condition and because I had tried and tested everything – homeopathy, physiotherapy, I was ready to do everything it takes.
And after 4 months of religiously following her diet I was shocked myself how only a lifestyle change could change my life.
I felt lighter, I was off my medication, I looked healthy and felt healthy.

She asked me to incorporate nutritious/ calorific as well as tasty foods in my diet such as dates , raisins , naachni/ ragi in different forms that would give me the required iron and colic acid.
She also asked me to include proteins such as chicken and egg whites which help in healthy weight gain as well as iron absorption.
Further she cleared misconceptions about certain other foods combinations like Palak panner which actually restrict absorption of protein (as dairy limited absorption of iron rich foods like Palak ).
