She asked me to incorporate nutritious/ calorific as well as tasty foods in my diet such as dates , raisins , naachni/ ragi in different forms that would give me the required iron and colic acid.
She also asked me to include proteins such as chicken and egg whites which help in healthy weight gain as well as iron absorption.
Further she cleared misconceptions about certain other foods combinations like Palak panner which actually restrict absorption of protein (as dairy limited absorption of iron rich foods like Palak ).
Her anti bloat recipe was also helpful in the 7th month month where other digestive issues – bloating , constipation etc started kicking in.
I am now in my 8th month with a better heamoglobin and feeling more energetic and have had a healthy / appropriate weight gain .
